Dr. Lyn K. Sonnenberg
Lyn is a physician, educator, and faith-driven leader whose work lives at the intersection of Scripture, science, and service. She is a neurodevelopmental pediatrician and former academic leader who has served in national roles shaping medical education across Canada.
Alongside her professional work, Lyn has spent decades serving in ministry through children’s programs, worship leadership, and church governance. Across both spaces, she has come to see that identity cannot be sustained by achievement alone —
it must be rooted in Christ.
She is the author of Carefully Chosen Words, Rooted in Trust, and The Influence Equation, as well as the Trust Fall series, where she invites readers into a deeper journey of surrender, rest, and obedience.
Lyn lives in Ottawa, Ontario, with her husband and three teenagers. She is most at peace near the water, where she continues to practice living with open hands, steady faith, and a heart anchored in Christ.
